and other Wellness Exhibitors
Mt. Laurel, NJ - The Burlington County College Foundation (BCCF) and the Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. (JCF) will present the 2010 “Body, Mind & Bottom Line” Expo on Sunday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Enterprise Center at BCC in Mt. Laurel. The Expo, which is free and open to the public, will provide adults from Burlington and Camden Counties who are interested in improving their health, well-being and finances with invaluable tools and information.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with approximately 50 local businesses and organizations to learn about services and resources for healthy living. Burlington County College and Virtua, a Grand Sponsor for the event, will have a number of interactive demonstrations that include opportunities for free blood pressure screenings and dental hygiene tips. Vendor booths, sponsorships, and ads are still available for interested businesses.
Three free seminars featuring a panel of experts will also be held. The topics include: “Maintain Health, Wealth, and Well-Being,” “Preserving Your Legacy: Make It, Keep It, Pass It On,” and “How to Survive Your Own Personal Tsunami: Dealing with Life’s Crises.” More information is available on the Expo web site www.bodymindexpo.org.
In addition to providing community members with a valuable service, the Expo will assist the BCCF and JCF, two leading non-profit foundations in South Jersey, with a commitment to partnering with likeminded organizations, to achieve their core missions.
BCCF is dedicated to raising funds for student scholarships and generating support for BCC programs. In 2009, the Foundation reached a milestone by granting 330 scholarships totaling over $250,000 for the academic year. The JCF, the premier community foundation in Southern New Jersey, offers donors the opportunity to create endowment and philanthropic funds to benefit specific non-profit organizations or programs they choose. Through the JCF’s practice of “boutique giving” generous donors have established approximately $36 million in current and future assets.
The Enterprise Center at BCC is located at 3331 Route 38 in Mt. Laurel, NJ. For more information on attending, exhibiting, or sponsoring the Expo, please contact the BCC Foundation office at (856) 222-9311, ext. 2513.
